Dead Money
Very inexperienced player's chips which he will surely lose.

Dead Man's Hand
Two pair: aces and eights. Called so because Wild Bill Hickok was shot (I mean - to death) with that hand.

Deuce
2 in poker, the lowest card.

Dime
Means $1,000

Dollar
Means $100 bet

Dominated
A name for a hand that has a lower kicker if the hands are similar. For example: KJ and K9. The flop brings another K, then KJ wins because of the kicker.

Door card.
In Seven-Card Stud it it the fisrs exposed card in a hand.

Doyle Brunson
10-2 starting hand. Called so because with this hand Doyle Brunson had won two times.

Down Cards
The same as hole cards.

Down To The Left
Out of money...totally.

Draw
When you hope that the cards coming out on the board will complete your hand.

Drawing Dead
Occurs when you draw to a loosing hand and your opponent has already made a better hand.

Drawout
The same as the bad beat

Drop
The same as "to fold".

Deuces.
