Rabbit Hunt
To “rabbit hunt” mean to ask the dealer to show the cards that could come. F.e. if you folded before the river to “rabbit hunt” means to ask to expose this last card.

Rack
A plastic tray for 5 stacks (100 chips)

Rag Off
When the river card doesn’t improve your hand.

Ragged Flop
A flop that disappoints all players at the table.

Rags
Trash cards. Something like 2 or 3… From 2 to 9.

Railbird
Kibitzer

Rainbow
When the board cards are all offsuit. F.e. you can say: 4QA rainbow.

Raise
To bet more then previous player. To increase the bet size.

Rake
A percentage of the pot that is a fee the poker rooms charge players.

Rank
A symbol on the card: number of letter: from 2 to A.

Read
To try to understand your opponents strategy and card.

Redraw
When you were on a draw and another card made this draw even better.

Represent
To behave as if you hold a strong hand.

Reraise
To raise a raise

Ring Game
Usual, non-tournament game.

Riffle
To shuffle

River
The fifth board card.

Rock
A type of player whose favorite action is folding.

Rock Garden
When there are many rocks at the table

Rockets
AA starting hand.

Roll
To open the card (to turn it face-up)

Rounder
Grinder

Route 66
66 starting hand.

Royal Flush
TJQKA of the same suit

Run
1. Straight
2. A number of good cards

Run Over
To play very aggressively in order to control other players

Runner-Runner
A hand that is made with the last two card

Running
The two desired cards that come as the last dealt cards.

Running Pair
When a pair dealt as the last two cards.

Rush
When winning hands follow one after another.
